Disclaimer
Informational only — not tax, legal or immigration advice.
Tax Residency Days is an independent informational tool. It replays published day-counting tests and shows the arithmetic behind them. It does not provide tax, legal or immigration advice, and no adviser–client relationship is created by using it.
What the results are
Results are described deliberately as what "appears" to follow from the published tests. Tax residency can depend on facts no calculator can see — where your home and family are, where your economic life is organised, your visa category, elections available in first/last years, and double-tax treaties between the countries involved. Results can also be affected by day-exclusion rules (commuters, transit days, medical situations, exempt-individual statuses) that this tool does not model.
Accuracy & verification
Country pages cite the official publication each calculation follows and carry a "verified as of" date. Rules change — sometimes mid-year. We re-verify each country annually in January and flag pages with stale verification dates, but we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the very latest state of the law at the moment you read it.
No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tax Residency Days is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and its operators accept no liability for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its results. Decisions about where to be, what to file and how to structure your life across borders should be made with a qualified cross-border tax adviser in the relevant jurisdictions.
